The scripted miniseries is slated to shoot in Ireland and is based on bestselling author Andrea Carter's mystery novels.
Toronto-headquartered Neshama Entertainment has inked a deal with Irish prodco Zanzibar Films to adapt The Inishowen Mysteries book series from bestselling author Andrea Carter.
The scripted miniseries is currently in development, with a plan to shoot in Ireland later this year. The project was unveiled today (July 9) by Neshama president and CEO Arnie Zipursky and Zanzibar Films founder Edwina Forkin.
The Inishowen Mysteries follows a solicitor who runs the Northerly-most law practice in Ireland, where she is launched into a world of mysteries and crime. As she works alongside the community, she realizes she can’t outrun her past or the guilt that consumes her.
